HEY FRIENDS!!!
We made it to Vegas and back!
Sorry I didn't post anything while I was gone.
It cost $10 for 24 hours of internet use at our ghetto hotel.
But that's what we get for paying $51 for two nights.
Anytime someone asked where we were staying I said:
"Oh, you know, The Piece if Shh.."
CUZ IT IS!
Take a look...
Never stay here.
It was also $20 a night for a freaking fridge.
I was pretty PISSED.
The tub didn't drain, the carpet was coming up, the wallpaper was peeling off and the doors didn't lock...
you can only imagine.
And this is our gorgeous view...might as well be a FREAKING jail house...
This was the carpet on our floor...BLECK!
This brings Hideous to a new level.
At least choose one style so it matches folks.
After we checked in, we ran up to our room (after getting lost 12 times) and got ready to head to the Strip...
to strip!
Not....
But really, I wore black pants and boots..I was about to strip cuz it was 103 degrees.
What on EARTH was I thinking. I wasn't. The heat was getting to my brain and fusing all of my focus cells.
Welcome to the janky elevator...
took a few tries to get a solid photo because it was SO FREAKING JANKY!
The Bellagio is remarkable.
There is a water show in front every 30 minutes.
Reminded me of the World of Color at Disneyland, but not as wondrous.
This is my best friend Kassy inside the Bellagio Gardens.
The one place that didn't smell of cigars and smoke and vomit.
Those are real flowers!
.
The set up was super cute.
There were hot air balloons, a light house, a carousel, lady bugs, etc.
Good thing the hotels blasted the air conditioning, cuz my outfit was melting off my body.
I have to say that the heat at night was a bit comforting.
I would sell all of my sweaters if I ever had to move to Vegas.
Los Tacos
DELICIOUS!
Everyone needs to have one.
Drive out to Vegas for Los Tacos and then drive back. Its all you need.
There are real Chilean flamingos at the Flamingo Hotel :)
We treated ourselves to Kobe Sushi & strawberry mochi our first night in Vegas...2nd fave sushi place of all time. Happy Sushi in Oceanside is my #1
That is the phantom mochi right there.
It supposed to be pink but my flash killed it.
The famous Stratosphere!
If only it was a cheap ride...it cost $23 because they charge you for going up the tower if you aren't staying in their hotel. We ALMOST did it. The guts were there, just not the bills.
People were bungee jumping off the very top!
Good thing we had just eaten. It made for a good excuse not to do it.
Insanity
The green claw that spins at the top.
So desperately wanted to go on it...but so not worth the money.
Ceiling inside the Venetian...jaw droppingly gorgeous!
This is in front of the Venetian. My fave hotel besides the Bellagio.

ZEUS! I think..Or perhaps King Triton!?
So many awesome statues surrounding Caesar's Palace near the Forum Shops.
There was a naked Greek man statue that I wanted to get a picture of but boys were having more fun taking pics with it than the girls. In fact, I didn't see any girls taking a picture with it...go figure.
Caesar is all decked out for EDC!
Statue Monument inside Caesar's Palace
New York New York
Cute itty bitty Statue of Liberty!
Eating lunch at Johnny Rockets while Kassy did a quick change from out of her dress and into her Love Pink shirt and shorts. She was literally a walking billboard for Victoria Secret.
(her purse was love pink as well :)
Everyone we walked passed made a comment about how they "love blue" or inserted another color instead of pink.
She was quite a hit!
Then she changed again...
She took the shorts off and put this cute green skirt on.
This marks her 3rd outfit for the day.
In essence she was stripping all day long!
She wouldn't wear this on a daily basis mind you, but she wanted to look more modest while on the temple grounds.
I had to take a picture of her because it was so funny.
Yes, that is a slurpee.
We found it!
The Las Vegas Nevada Temple!
Refuge from the City of Sin.
It was good to get away from the strip and rest our feet.
Holiness to the Lord
The House of the Lord

(Kassy)
At the end of the day, despite us wearing shoes, our feet came out like this...
OGAR DIRTY!
Freakin bum city.
FYI: Don't wear flats.
We were entirely tired from strolling the strip for 11 hours so what do you do!?
FACIALS!
(Hideous, I know, but it was part of our adventure so I had to post it.)
Brunch @ the Mon Ami Gabi Paris Hotel
A great place to people watch and relax with a nice glass of lemonade :)
This is the salad I ordered, recommended by our server.
The only salad that beats the Yellow Deli's Chef Salad.
(probably because it was 10 bucks where as the deli's is 5 bucks)
(Mon Ami Gabi)
Can't resist a French cafe!
We ended the 3 day trip with thrift shopping @ Deseret Industries!
Probably the most exciting part of the whole trip :)
I spent $30 on 10 items!
That's not even worth one item at H&M.
A reception shortly followed our DI adventure, after which we headed to our final stay at a friends in Henderson.
We had to be up at 4:30am to make it back in time for our church meetings at 11am....
But a freaking aluminum can on a string kept hitting our window (don't ask me how it got there), so sleep was not in the cards.
4:30 came super quick...
BUT WE MADE IT BACK TO CALI!
I'll post my DI finds tomorrow!
XOXO!
